Name: Course in Industrial Waste Management
Price: 2900.00 USD

Overview

Why Attend

This course offers this training program on Industrial Waste Management. Since ancient times, humans have used natural resources to sustain their lives and relied on land as a means to dispose of waste. This posed no major problem due to the small size of settlements, limited waste generation, and the abundance of vacant land available for disposal.

However, as populations formed villages and cities, issues related to waste collection and disposal began to emerge. These challenges grew more complex with the increasing population density in urban areas and the expansion of human economic activities. With the advent of the Industrial Revolution and widespread technological advancement, industries became a significant source of pollution, generating vast quantities of waste that were released into the environment.

Course Objectives

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Who Should Attend?

Engineers, technicians and workers in the field of environmental engineering and industrial waste management in municipalities.
Workers in the ministries of environment, health, industry and local administration.
Supervisors of cleaning units, service facilities, transportation operations, collection and sorting halls.
Workers in the Environmental Protection Department.
Employees in the Quality and Occupational Safety Department.
Quality managers.
Owners of industrial activities.

Knowledge and Benefits:

After completing the program, participants will be able to master the following:

Knowledge of industrial waste, its sources and types.
Knowledge of the quantities of industrial waste, methods of expressing its production rates and methods of measuring production rates, and factors affecting its production rate.
Knowledge of the characteristics of natural and chemical industrial waste.
Knowledge of industrial waste management systems, methods of storing it and its production sites, and methods of collecting, transporting, treating and disposing of industrial waste.
Knowledge of the effects of industrial waste on humans and the environment.
